Asbestos abatement and removal

Asbestos is a mineral that Mother Nature made practically indestructible: fire, chemicals—you name it, it shrugged it off. From the 1940s to the 1970s, it got stuffed into building materials: pipe and boiler insulation, roofing felt, floor tiles and mastic, vinyl flooring and siding, textured walls and ceilings, and caulking—just to name a few.

Today, we know breathing asbestos fibers is deadly business. Asbestos is classified as a human carcinogen. Exposure can lead to fatal lung cancer—mesothelioma—and other lung diseases. Symptoms might not show up for 10 to 40 years.

Because of these dangers, asbestos handling is regulated by the EPA, OSHA, and state health departments. No question—only licensed, seasoned professionals should touch this stuff. The EPA stresses that asbestos fibers can be released when the material is disturbed—demolition, remodeling, maintenance, you name it—kicking fibers into the air ups your risk of lung disease.

Husar Abatement, LTD has the know-how, the experience, and the gear to get each job done safely. We’ll work with you to schedule times that least disrupt your business—AM, PM, or overnight. All materials and debris will be disposed of following state and local regulations, to an EPA-approved landfill. Every step is in full compliance with asbestos regulations.
